Influencia del coeficiente intelectual en el rendimiento académico de los alumnos de la Escuela Profesional de Enfermería de la Uladech Huaraz, 2019

Abstract

La presente tesis tuvo como objetivo: determinar la asociación del coeficiente intelectual y el rendimiento académico de los alumnos del segundo ciclo de la escuela profesional de enfermería de la ULADECH Huaraz. Cuyo enfoque es el cuantitativo, correlacional de corte transversal, el tamaño de la muestra estuvo compuesta por 61 alumnos de la ULADECH Huaraz, matriculados en el semestre 2019-I. El test de Raven se aplicó en los diferentes salones y el rendimiento académico (notas) se obtuvieron de las actas de los registros académicos. El instrumento, es un material validado debido a que su aplicación se ha generalizado a nivel mundial. Los resultados muestran que el coeficiente intelectual y el rendimiento académico de los alumnos del segundo ciclo de la escuela profesional de enfermería están asociados (Rho de Spearman = 0.727), este valor indica que la asociación entre estas dos variables es directa y estadísticamente significativa. Por lo que resulta de suma importancia la alimentación en los primeros años de vida de los niños, ya que esto permite desarrollar mejor el cerebro.

The objective of this thesis was to determine the association of the IQ and the academic performance of the students of the second cycle of the nursing professional school of the ULADECH Huaraz. Whose approach is the quantitative, cross-sectional correlational, the sample size was made up of 61 students of the ULADECH Huaraz, enrolled in the 2019-I semester. The Raven test was applied in the different classrooms and academic performance (grades) were obtained from the minutes of the academic records. The instrument is a validated material because its application has become widespread worldwide. The results show that the IQ and the academic performance of the students in the second cycle of the nursing school are associated (Rho de Spearman = 0.727), this value indicates that the association between these two variables is direct and statistically significant. So it is very important to feed in the first years of life of children, as this allows the brain to develop better.
